	World Snowboard Day Park Party December 18, 2011 The official opening weekend of Badlands Terrain Park! It also doubles as world snowboard day, so get your party socks on for a solid day of jib-jamming fun. The park will be stocked with lots of swag giveaways, music, best trick jams & more. The event will run from 10AM – 4:30PM.
	The North Face Park and Pipe Open [cancelled] Due to less than ideal weather conditions early this winter, Blue Mountain Resort, The North Face and Mountain Sports International have made a difficult decision to cancel the North Face Park and Pipe Open event that was scheduled to be held at Blue Mountain on January 13-15. On behalf of the event organizers and sponsors, we would like to express our sincere apologies to all the athletes, parents and spectators involved in this highly anticipated event. Despite our best efforts to take matters into our own hands with our industry leading snowmaking system, the warmer temperatures throughout December delayed our operating schedule. While the Resort is currently receiving great natural snowfall, winter didn’t arrive in time to fully prepare our renowned Badlands Terrain Park for The North Face Park and Pipe Open. With great snowfall and temperatures in the forecast for early January, all other events will run as scheduled.
	Billabong Flaunt It January 21, 2012 Sony Ericsson presents Billabong FLAUNT IT, an all girls snowboard slopestyle series with 7 stops across North America. FLAUNT IT is part of the prestigious TTR World Snowboard Tour, ranking as a 3 star event. 	Badlands Park Series: Terrain Park February 8, 15, 22, 29, 2012 Badlands Park series is Blue Mountain’s own grassroots terrain park series taking place Wednesday evenings in February. Never competed before? No problem! This event is designed to welcome new riders to the contest scene. All ages welcome! Categories include ski and snowboard 14 & under, amateur, open and girls. $1800 in cash prizing for the open divisions, and tons of prizes for the amateur categories. $5 entry, registration is from 5:30 – 6:30 in the Kandahar foyer, Blue Mountain Inn. Contest runs from 7-9PM.
	Volcom Stone Peanut Butter Rail Jam February 11, 2012 Volcom Stone’s Peanut Butter and Rail Jam is Ontario largest rail jam and a staple event on the Ontario snowboard scene. Back at Blue Mountain for its 9th year, you can expect to see over 150 riders from across the province throw some smooth peanut-buttery tricks on a signature PBRJ set up. Full day event, Registration in the Ravanna Room.
	Salomon Jib Academy March 3, 2012 The Salomon Jib Academy is a global tour of slopestyle ski events for athletes 16 years old and younger. Participants ski in groups all morning with a Salomon pro coach learning new tricks and meeting other skiers. In the afternoon there is a 10-12 person final jam session where tons of great prizes will be given out including the Grand Prize trip to Mammoth Mountain for the Jib Academy Final. 	Badlands Golden Ticket March 17, 2012 Win a 2012-2013 Sponsorship from Salomon, Bonfire, Spy, Lifted Boardshop and Blue Mountain Resort! Ages 16 & Under both ski and snowboard are invited to show off their skills to the Salomon Pros for their chance to get hooked up next season with a full outerwear, hardgood, shop sponsorship and Super Pass from Blue Mountain Resort. 5 Skiers and 5 Snowboarders will be chosen to compete in the final for the ‘Golden Ticket’.
	The Great Canadian Shield Series Finale March 22 - 24, 2012 New to Blue Mountain for 2012, the last stop and series finale for Canada’s newest ski & snowboard slopestyle series will take place in Badlands terrain park. Watch the best skiers and snowboarders compete for the series title, and don’t miss the legendary Coors Light Party in the Grand Central Lodge Saturday Night. New this year will be a Snowboard Canada & SBC Skier Media Challenge, and the Final 4 showdown team challenge will take place from 7pm – 9pm on Saturday night.
	Final 4 Showdown 7 - 9PM | March 24, 2012 The Final 4 Showdown is back & bigger for 2012. This team challenge is based solely on creativity & animation, which makes it one of the most hilariously funny events of the season. Teams of 4 get three laps through the park simultaneously and are judged on 1.The uniqueness of the costume, 2. Their ability to act out their costume and 3. Their use of all the features in the park. Teams can be made up of ski & board, male & female. Most creative team wins $500 cash.
