Badlands Terrain Park

Note: With temperatures dropping this weekend, we will be taking every opportunity to blow snow on many of our trails. Please note that during this time, the Badlands Chair and Terrain Park will be closed for snowmaking and a park rebuild. The new, fully equipped Badlands Terrain Park and Superpipe will reopen by January 21st, 2012 with more features and a deeper base of snow for the remainder of the season. We apologize for the inconvenience. During the rebuild, a hike-up park will be available in the Greatest Hits area.

Please check our Snow Conditions page for updates

The Badlands Terrain Park is Blue Mountain’s largest park & home base for the freestyle community at Blue. Badlands has something to offer every level of rider from basic beginner rails & features all the way up to the advanced jump lines, signature features & a SuperPipe. Our priority this winter is to keep Badlands ‘fresh & clean’ so watch out for new features & additions throughout the 2012 winter season.

If you’re just staring out in the park never fear we have something for you! Head over the Greatest Hits or the Enchanted Forest where we offer the perfect set-up for you to learn the skills you need to progress onto larger features.

We have an exciting season ahead of us here at Blue Mountain resort with both an extensive event calendar and build schedule. With the return of Volcom Stone Peanut Butter Rail Jam, Badlands Park Series, Final 4 Showdown and the addition of many new events including The North Face Park & Pipe Open, Salomon Jib Academy and The Canadian Shield Finale, there will never be a dull moment. Check out the full line-up of events on our dedicated Terrain Park Events Page.

Safety is always our #1 priority at Blue Mountain so a Park Pass & Helmet is mandatory in Badlands Terrain Park. For more information on the terrain park pass click here.

Hours of Operation

Terrain Park is open 7 days a week during regular operating hours from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. For information on early & late season operating hours check out our daily conditions update here.
